Lisa is an adventurer and approaches life with curiosity and wonder.

Through years of embodying an employee mindset and dutifully participating in the (now) standard retirement and investment plans, Lisa found herself clueless about her financial status and effectively powerless in her financial future. After inquiring, she was shown projections based on all future variables being fixed (a fantasy scenario) and told to trust the experts. That’s when she realized she hadn’t been asking the right questions.

It occurred to her that the wealthy were not following the same advice. Using her education in Neuroscience & Behavior, she employed the scientific method to test her observation. Employees represent an enormous market. Why were employees directed (some even automatically enrolled) in defined contribution plans? Who benefits? What are the risks? Who carries the risk? And down the rabbit hole, she went. A mashup of Spiderman (“With great power comes great responsibility.”) and Eleanor Roosevelt (“With freedom comes responsibility.”) had Lisa realize that responsibility is a choice. Lisa recognized that the biggest battle facing most of us is the wealth battle in our own lives.

Though Lisa has no formal military background, her knowledge, training, and preparation are top-notch. Her mission is to arm people with the education, mindset, and tools to make powerful, informed choices in their own financial lives. She embraces the economic value of certainty. Lisa’s version of Intelligence Preparedness for the Battlefield arms clients with financial education, bulletproof financial vehicles, and a group of friendlies who are demonstrations of the power of knowledge coupled with action.
